This piece of art uniquely

This piece of art uniquely blends the power, strength, creativity and originality representative of north county. Clearly a show piece worth admoration and awe inspiring contemplation. Kevin

Mikoshi

This wonderful piece of public art provides a graceful and peaceful welcome to visitors to the Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas campus. Its design seems to float in the wind and provides a welcoming relief from the stresses some patients and their visitors might experience entering the healthcare setting. How perfect to place this beautiful piece of art in this healing place in north San Diego County.

Healing Powers

I am so thrilled to see this piece get recognized. As a frequent visitor to the hospital, I watched it get installed and become a part of the landscape for the hospital. It is most especially beautiful when it dances in the ocean breeze. I am convinced it holds healing powers. Miranda K, patient

Mikoshi

This is certainly one of the most beautiful and graceful pieces this artist has done. It visually works very well in the space and the metaphorical aspect of the yin yang is a very powerful symbol for a hospital. North County has acquired a real gem and a serious piece of "Public Art"!!!

Jeffery's work grows

Jeffery's work grows enormously with this new piece. We have been collectors of his work for over 20 years and his move into kinetic work is exactly the right step. Of course, I told him that. Great piece and thanks to the Donors. Howie

New directions for this important artist

It is so impressive to see Laudenslager's progress within the kinetic genre. His work is more elegant and poetic and still retains its energy and power. It seems a perfect match for the location where all those characteristic are necessary for healing and inspiration. Patricia Frischer coordinator, SDVAN
