Moda Sorrento is an eight-building lab/office campus acquired and converted to life science in phases totaling 212,642 square feet on the border of west Sorrento Mesa and Sorrento Valley. Moda has direct access to the I-805 freeway, is within walking distance to retail amenities, and is proximate to UC San Diego and other key research institutions. The campus has unique indoor/outdoor seating areas and an amenity building providing a fitness center, conference space, tenant lounge, and a cafe. The new landscape palette is clean, poppy, and modern, showcasing San Diego’s distinct character and climate. The landscape encourages people to cross paths, create places to connect, integrate communal space that brings the outside in, optimize visibility to peers, and blend workspaces together — all while balancing privacy and transparency. This refreshed life science campus reflects how ingenuity and collaboration are the ingredients for innovation and why San Diego is the perfect place for inspiration.

How about some shade trees? San Diego Climate Action Plan advocates urban tree planting, which helps offset all of the concrete, asphalt and roofs that have replaced so much of our native habitats. In an increasingly warmer world, we need more shade!
