Once again, the City of San Diego has missed the mark with their urban infrastructure design and implementation. A traffic round-about to assist the flow of cars has been created at the expense of everything around it- pedestrians, adjacent businesses, community at large! City engineering created a situation that they then felt compelled to try and resolve with more layers of fences, signs, and empty spaces- presumably for the benefit of something? Guessing that something is automobiles! Have we slipped back to the 1970s in our thinking- take a look around San Diego, the world is filled with amazing urban circulation solutions where people are at the heart of the solution, not cars!!!
